The Department of Civil Engineering is one of the most important scientific departments in the College of Engineering, which is responsible for leading the process of development and prosperity all over the world and our dear country. The Department of Civil Engineering is also considered one of the basic and important departments in all engineering faculties in the world, because this department is considered an important factor in the civilizational, social, cultural and scientific development and change of any society.
The Civil Engineering at Al-Maaqel University began receiving its students since its establishment in the year 2020-2021 and working to prepare the requirements for scientific excellence for them in various disciplines within civil engineering and scientific theses from campaigners and scientific marks from the Department of Academic Sciences and the Department. At the level of primary studies in addition to the means of developing educational and educational teaching.
Classrooms and educational laboratories are equipped with the latest devices and equipment that contribute to the delivery of theoretical and practical scientific information with high accuracy, and also in order to advance the urban reality of Basra Governorate.
It is a source of pride and pride that we all agree that the science and development of civil engineering has a great impact on the progress of various aspects of science and the development of human life, as it is one of the first scientific foundations that contributed to the development and growth of human creativity.
